Welcome to the home of the Avon Grove Intermediate School Parent Teacher Association. We hope that you find this site to be a useful source of information concerning AGIS PTA activities, membership, volunteer opportunities, and issues impacting Avon Grove Intermediate School and the Avon Grove School District. We encourage everyone to play an active role in the education and success of their child.
The AGIS PTA invites you to join with us to support our children's educational activities. When you join the PTA you are supporting our efforts for a better school. You also make a commitment to be part of a strong school community of students, parents, teachers and administrators. Volunteering is not mandatory as a PTA member. You may choose your level of involvement. We greatly appreciate any and all parental participation. To join the PTA and/or sign up to volunteer, please complete the Response Form included the AGIS PTA Welcome Packet. Although our membership drive ended in September, we are happy to accept new memberships at any time throughout the school year.
AGIS PTA is once again sponsoring after school enrichment classes. A schedule of classes and registration forms were recently sent home with students. The information packet is also available here.
AGIS is participating in the Giant A+ School Rewards Program. Through March 31, 2012, you can earn CASH for AGIS through this program each time you shop at any Giant store.
Log on to giantfoodstores.com/aplus and choose "Designate Your School" to register your card online. Then, each time you shop at Giant using your BONUSCARD, you will earn A+ School Rewards! Each month, the amount of CASH awarded based on the A+ Rewards will be updated on the Giant website. Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school's educational needs!
